THE CRESCENT MOON OF MARINE SERRE
In just a few years, Marine Serre has succeeded with her independent firm and by working hard, has shown that things can be done differently. With respect for the environment, against the Asian exploitation of the textile world.
When this master of recycling began, she ran into doubts from the fashion world regarding her idea of creating new pieces with old or already used fabrics and clothes. Today, what seemed so new and alien to the world of fashion itself has become something that is promoted and applauded. Almost eighty percent of what it produces comes from old fabrics that in the hands of the brand, acquire new life.
Her emblem, the beautiful crescent moon, is synonymous, for her, with the transformation and the change that could well be imitated by other designers. So we get to their brand and the energy of what goes on behind the scenes where they have allowed us to look. And all this through the crescent moon.
